Claude V. Meadows (LTC, USA, Ret.)
Claude V. “Jim” Meadows has over thirty-five years of professional experience working with U.S. and international militaries and government relations. His military experience culminated with 4 years working with members and staff of the United States Congress where he represented the Secretary of the Army as Liaison Officer for both the House and Senate Defense Appropriation Committees. Jim was the Army’s point man on Capitol Hill for all of the Army’s aviation procurement and research and development accounts, military personnel and Army medical programs.
Jim has extensive contacts both on Capitol Hill and in the Pentagon and is frequently consulted for advice from within the military and the private sector on the development of successful legislative and government business development strategies. Prior to joining the DLM Group, Jim had nine years of documented success as a Vice President with a Washington based government relations firm focused on congressional relations and the federal budget process.
Jim’s clients have ranged from Fortune 500 companies to high-tech start ups both within the U.S and internationally. Jim had a 23-year military career in the Army Medical Service Corps where he received many awards including the Legion of Merit, the Army Staff Badge and the Order of Military Medical Merit. During his career he established a background in operational medicine, health care administration and resource management.
Jim has received Knighthood in the Order of Saint Constantine the Great. He has a B.S. from Old Dominion University, an M.S. in Systems Management from the University of Southern California and an M.B.A. from the University of Richmond.
