Michael Arnold (HMCS (FMF/FPJ/MCD) SOIDC, USN, Ret.)
Michael has 28 years of professional military experience, mostly serving with Special Operations. As a Special Operations Independent Duty Corpsman he has worked with Conventional and Special Operations Forces from the tactical level to the executive/strategic level with both United States and International forces. Michael’s solid foundation of organizational management, operational medicine, Special Operations, and joint mission planning were the corner stones for his highly successful military career.
In Michael’s last position serving as the Senior Enlisted Medial Advisor (SEMA) for Marine Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC) he was involved in Strategic and Operational Planning, product development and testing, project management, organizational development and advising General and Flag Officers on all medical requirements.
Michael’s education includes the U.S. Special Forces Medical Sergeants long course (18D), the Executive Medical Department Enlisted Course, the Joint Special Operations Senior Enlisted Academy, undergraduate education from the United States Naval Academy and earned a B.S. from Trident University in Health Science.
With combat deployments to both Iraq and Afghanistan Michael used his expertise in leadership, team building, management, planning, and problem solving which delivered critical advise in the most arduous situations with superb results.
Michael’s involvement with the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) TCCC CASEVAC Kit helped it be awarded the 2012 Department of Defense Better Buying Power Efficiency Award.
